The Problem

Across Liberia, especially in rural and under-resourced areas, many pastors are leading churches without their own copy of the Bible.

Some share one Bible between multiple leaders, while others rely on handwritten notes or memory during preaching. For pastors who are deeply committed to their congregations but lack access to the most essential ministry tool—the Word of God—this creates a serious gap in spiritual formation, teaching accuracy, and leadership strength.

The inability to afford or access a Bible shouldn't stand between a shepherd and his calling.

Our Response

At HopeGivers Ministries, we believe every pastor should have direct access to God’s Word—daily, personally, and fully.

Our Bibles for Pastors project is dedicated to sourcing and distributing Bibles to pastors, evangelists, and church leaders who currently do not have one.

Here's what this project includes:

Free distribution of Bibles in English and local languages to underserved pastors.

Personalized Bible presentations during leadership gatherings, training sessions, or ministry events.

Lightweight, durable formats suited for field ministry in remote areas.

Basic Bible literacy training, where needed, to help recipients engage the Scriptures more deeply.

Follow-up discipleship support, ensuring that pastors are not only equipped but also empowered to teach and preach with confidence and integrity.

Each Bible is more than a book—it’s a tool for revival, a source of strength, and a seed for transformation.

The Change We Seek

We envision a Liberia where every church leader is rooted in the Word, and where every sermon preached is biblically sound, Spirit-led, and soul-reviving.

Through this project, we aim to:

End Bible poverty among pastors, especially in remote or rural communities.

Strengthen doctrinal integrity in churches through deeper, direct engagement with Scripture.

Fuel personal spiritual growth and effective discipleship within congregations.

Honor and affirm the calling of local pastors by giving them the tools they need to succeed.

Support the expansion of the Gospel by multiplying well-equipped, Word-centered leaders across Liberia.
