Pastoral & Ministry Training

Equipping leaders. Strengthening churches. Transforming communities through sound doctrine and servant leadership.

The Problem

In many parts of Liberia, pastors and ministry leaders are serving without formal training, biblical resources, or spiritual mentorship.

Many were called into ministry out of necessity during or after the civil crisis, but never had access to theological education or leadership development. As a result, churches often struggle with doctrinal errors, burnout, disunity, and shallow discipleship.

Meanwhile, rising leaders—especially in rural and under-resourced communities—remain isolated, under-equipped, and unsupported as they try to shepherd congregations and navigate complex social issues.

Our Response

The HopeGivers Training Project exists to close this gap. We believe that strong, biblically grounded leaders are essential to strong churches—and strong churches are essential to nation-building.

Through this initiative, we provide:

Contextualized pastoral training workshops that cover theology, leadership, counseling, preaching, discipleship, and ethics.
Modular certificate programs in ministry and church leadership, delivered in-person and online.
Rural training outreaches, bringing education to hard-to-reach areas where pastors cannot afford to travel.
Peer learning circles, where leaders sharpen each other through experience sharing and accountability.
Mentorship and coaching, matching younger leaders with seasoned pastors for one-on-one spiritual formation.

All training is delivered from a Bible-centered, Spirit-led, and mission-driven foundation—honoring both local realities and global standards.

The Change We Seek

We envision a Liberia filled with equipped, humble, and visionary church leaders who shepherd with clarity, compassion, and courage.

Through this project, we aim to:

Deepen theological understanding and biblical interpretation in local churches.
Improve pastoral care, reducing spiritual fatigue, isolation, and moral failure.
Raise servant leaders—not just preachers—who can model Christlike humility and excellence.
Build church resilience in the face of social, spiritual, and economic challenges.
Create a movement of multiplication, where trained leaders go on to train others.
✨ A trained pastor doesn’t just teach the Word—they embody it. Let’s invest in the voices that guide, comfort, and lead God’s people every day.
