This past week, the Lord allowed HopeGivers Ministries to successfully conduct two sets of leadership trainings for auxiliary leaders representing 19 churches across Montserrado and Nimba counties. A total of 61 leaders participated under the theme Equipping Local Church Auxiliaries, and the impact was unmistakable.
From the opening session to the final prayer, there was a deep sense that God was stirring something fresh within His church. Many leaders shared that this was the first training of its kind ever offered to their auxiliaries. Their excitement, humility, and hunger to grow created an atmosphere of learning that was both joyful and spiritually rich.
A Hunger for More
Throughout the week, participants repeatedly expressed how meaningful and timely the training was. Several leaders recommended that this kind of equipping be extended to two days or more, noting how much their churches would benefit from deeper, ongoing development.

Each session blended Scripture, practical tools, and real‑life ministry examples – creating a training environment that was both spiritually grounded and highly actionable.
A Growing Movement of Equipped Leaders
What encouraged us most was the unity and determination displayed by the leaders who attended. They came ready to learn, ready to grow, and ready to return to their churches with renewed passion.
Their testimonies, gratitude, and recommendations confirm what we already believe:
Investing in auxiliary leaders is one of the most strategic ways to strengthen the local church.
HopeGivers Ministries remains committed to walking alongside churches in Liberia – equipping leaders, empowering ministries, and advancing the Gospel through practical, Spirit‑led training.
More trainings are already being planned, and by God’s grace, this movement of equipping will continue to expand across the Christian community.
With your prayers and support, we can training and equip many more local church leaders to carry out the work of Christ.
